BWX Editor Menu

The BWX Editor Menu brings a series of features to help the translation/review work. Menu structure consists of:

1. Editor's Comments

You can now add comments to each segment in BWX Editor. Click on the segment to open the comment box:

  • The comment will be visible for all users with access to the work unit (allocated vendors, project PMs and account-admin) in all workflows

  • You can also reply to existing comments

To enter a comment in private mode, enable Private mode in the comment box:

By using Private comments, the comments made will be visible only to the user who made them. It does not allow replies.

Comments can be viewed in any Workflow.

2. Suggestion

The main panel for the localization process. Suggestions from the Translation Memory and TermBases will be available in this tab.

3. Instructions

Once the project is created, you can write instructions for the linguist.

This field was designed so that the Project Manager (PM) could add their instructions about the project in such a way that the vendor will be able to visualize them inside the editor.

  • To add an instruction, click on the Instructions tab and write the instruction you want to share with the linguist

This field allows:

  • Headings

  • Bold, Italic and Strikethrough

  • Line

  • Blockquote

  • Unordered and Ordered Lists

  • Tasks

  • Indent and Outdent

  • Tables, images and links

  • Inline code and insert codeblock

The instructions will be copied to the Tasks details tab and also to the Instructions tab in the BWX Editor.

The instructions will only be visible when the projects is approved since this action triggers the Tasks creation, but the instructions can be added to the project before or after the project approval.

  • To access the instructions on the Tasks tab, just click on the tab and then on Details

  • You can access the Instructions in the BWX Editor by clicking on Instructions tab
    - The vendor can open the editor, expand the lateral menu, and select the Instruction tab to access the instructions.
